Which class is most suitable for my child? Whippersnappers Mixed Toddler Music classes are suitable for any child age 1 to 4 years old. We offer a baby Sensory Stay and Play Music session for children under 12 months. If you are unable to attend our Baby Sensory Stay and Play Class we are more than happy to accommodate you and your baby in our Mixed Toddler Music Classes.
What does sibling discount mean?
Siblings means only brothers and sisters from one family household who attend with one adult. Children from separate families who attend with one adult each need to pay the full price of £7.50 a session.
What is the difference between the Whippersnapper Brockwell Lido site and College lodge site?
Our Brockwell Lido site offers a large studio theatre space with theatre and disco lights and theatrical sets. It has a matted floor and can accommodate more families in each class. Our College Lodge site is situated in Dulwich Park. Classes take place in a beautiful Victorian park keeper’s House which Whippersnappers have converted into a fully accessible community space. We have a garden downstairs with a Yurt and Cabin and a small workshop space upstairs.
What is the situation with parking?
Brockwell Lido has a car park which is free for the first 2 hours – if you stay more than 2 hours you can paid money to stay longer. If the Lido car park is full there is paid parking on Dulwich road. College Lodge has paid parking in the park or free parking on College Rd or Gallery Rd.
I would love to attend but cannot afford to pay the fees?
Whippersnappers are an inclusive organisation and do also offer skill swaps for families who might be able to offer something in return for attending a class. (Examples might be sewing/ making props, professional advice and support, marketing, social media posting etc. Please do email cburghard@whippersnappers.org to make a request for a free place. If you have an exceptional circumstance or are struggling to attend and cannot offer a skills swop please email Whippersnappers or call Caroline on 07957204980 and we will see how we can help you to attend free of charge.
Can I book a single session?
Yes single session tickets are available to book. We do require you to book before arriving to the class. If the class is fully booked, then please book a different class, as we have limited spaces available.
If I am unable to make the class, can I offer my place to some else?
A transfer can always be made to a different class in the same week or during your 6 week booking period. However this would not be possible if your replacement class is already full and you would need to take a space in an alternative class.
Can I move my booking once classes have started?
We try our best to accommodate your requirements as much as possible. However, if you have joined a block booking we are only able to move your booking if we have space in a different class. Please contact info@whippersnappers.org for further advise. Whippersnappers only allows for two transfers of bookings per 6 week block booking
I have joined a class, but feel my child is better suited in another class, can I move?
We want you to get the most out of the classes. Therefore, if your child will be better suited to a different time and age group, please do let us know and we will try and accommodate your request. Last term was difficult to coordinate and there were younger children in toddler classes. We hope now that the older age range will increase and parents and carers with young babies will enrol in our Baby sensory stay and play sessions instead of the Mixed toddler sessions.
If I am no longer able to make the block booking, can I receive a refund?
A transfer can always be made to a different class in the same week or during your 6 week booking period. However this would not be possible if your replacement class is already full and you would need to take a space in an alternative class. However you can offer your space to a friend or receive a credit note (minus £5 booking fee) if requested less than 72 hours of your booking date.
Can an additional adult join the class?
One adult only may attend with each child unless a special arrangement has been made. Please email adavey@whippersnappers.org to add an additional adult.
